Manchester United are understood to be preparing a £60million bid for German international Thomas Mueller.
Reports suggests that the Red Devils are determined to lure World cup star Muller after agreeing to sell Robin van Persie to Fenerbache.
The Daily Star is reporting United have accepted Fenerbahce's £4.7million bid for van Persie, with the Dutch international signing a four-year deal worth £200,000 a week.
It is understood the Red Devils will now turn their attention to luring Muller to Old Trafford. Bayern appear reluctant to part with the 25-year-old, but United chief executive Ed Woodward is understood to be confident of preparing an offer that is too good to refuse for the Bundesliga Champions.
