Manchester United are in talks with Bayern Munich midfielder Arturo Vidal.

While United have not made an offer for the Chile international, there remains contact with his agent, Fernando Felicevich - who also represents Alexis Sanchez.

Corriere dello Sport says Bayern are in talks with Inter Milan over the sale of Vidal, though the Italians are wary of competition from United.

And after United's €60m offer for Real Madrid midfielder Mateo Kovacic was turned down by the Croatian yesterday, they could now firm up their interest in Vidal.

Bayern are prepared to sell the midfielder this month for around €18-20m.
