Man Utd to beat Arsenal, Man City to Bolton prospect Max Broughton

Manchester United are set to win the race for Bolton Wanderers prospect Max Broughton.

The midfielder is also being chased by Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester City after impressing for the Trotters and England at youth level.

But The Sun says the 16-year-old is nearing a move to Manchester United due to the newly promoted Championship side's close working relationship the Reds.

Club owners Ken Anderson and his son Lee are former agents and still have a good working relationship with the Old Trafford hierarchy.

United are prepared to pay £1million plus add-ons for Broughton to head off competition from other Premier League suitors.
