Thiago Alcantara is to begin pre-season with Barcelona despite reports of interest from Manchester United. Barca spokesman Toni Freixa has confirmed the 22 year old Spain international will be among the squad when they resume training for the new season.
"We have the players we have and Thiago is one of them," Freixa told Radio Catalunya.
"Pre-season with us begins as scheduled."
