Saul Niguez says he'll stay with Atletico Madrid so long as coach Diego Simeone remains in charge.
Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho had made the Spanish international one of his main targets for next summer.
But he told Marca: "While Simeone is here, no.
"When a coach backs you like he does and when a coach trusts you like he does, its key.
"When you play one, two or three games where you're not playing well, and you see that you carry on playing, in the end you would die for him, because you feel that you owe him.
"That ease of mind that he gives me makes me what I am today on the pitch.
"It took a lot out of me to win his trust but now I have his trust, what I want to do is carry on fighting to the death for him."
