Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo has refused to commit himself to the club. Linked with a return to Manchester United, Ronaldo refused to confirm Real president Florentino Perez's claims that he would "retire as a Real Madrid player".

"I have not renewed," he said. "It is still not resolved. I do not want to talk about it because it is not the right time. Later maybe we're going to know something more concrete, but for now I train, play and prepare.

"I just want to do my job. I do not know my future. Currently I am a Real player and the future I do not know. We'll see what happens. At the moment I'm fine where I am."
