Sergio Ramos has travelled with Real Madrid for their pre-season tour of Australia and Asia.
The Spanish defender is a strong target for Manchester United but it appears as though the Red Devils' pursuit has fallen flat after he boarded a plane bound for Australia on Sunday.
Ramos was the subject of a £28.6million bid from United late last month but Real turned down their approach in a bid to keep the 10-year veteran at the Santiago Bernabeu.
It was believed that Ramos was keen to leave the Spanish capital for Old Trafford but the fact he is now heading away for pre-season training and games suggests he will remain with Los Blancos.
Rafa Benitez's side take on Italian club AS Roma in Melbourne on July 18 before meeting Manchester City six days later as part of the 2015 International Champions Cup.
Teammate Jese Rodriguez posted a photo of he and Ramos together on the plane ahead of their long flight down under.
