Juan Mata has entered talks with Chelsea about leaving this month. The Daily Star says reports in Mata's homeland suggest the Blues ace has grown increasingly worried of his position in the Spain squad for this summer's World Cup in Brazil and is determined to leave the club to ensure he does not miss out.
Mata was left on the bench for the entirety of Chelsea's 3-1 victory over Manchester United on Sunday with Eden Hazard, Oscar and Willian preferred by manager Jose Mourinho.
Manchester United are interested in signing the 25-year-old, while French champions PSG and Serie A outfit Inter Milan have also been credited with an interest.
