Man Utd target Griezmann: Real Madrid? Barcelona? Why not. But England…

Antoine Griezmann admits he would be open to playing for Atletico Madrid's key Spanish rivals.

Discussing the prospect of leaving Atleti, Griezmann told a webchat for L'Equipe that bigger clubs such as Real Madrid, Barcelona and Bayern Munich are of interest to him, but the Premier League is ultimately where he sees himself if he ever decides to leave the Vicente Calderon

Asked if he would play for Real or Barça, he said: "Why not? It's a dream to play for the biggest clubs and those two are up with Bayern [Munich] and English clubs that I have dreamed about since I was small.

"But I don't see myself at Barcelona or Real. Or anywhere else. I am happy in Spain. It's sunny – that helps. I need that to be in my private live and on the pitch. The two are linked."

He added: "I don't want to leave Atletico to go to Paris (Saint-Germain), China, the United States, Russia or elsewhere."

The French striker continues to be heavily linked with a potential summer move to Manchester United who are prepared to pay the £86million release clause in a bid to lure him to Old Trafford.
