Corriere dello Sport says Gomes has told the Nou Camp club he wants to leave, amid interest from Manchester United.
Gomes is unhappy that the Blaugrana are being linked with Jean-Michel Seri.
The 24-year-old signed for the Catalan giants from Valencia after coming through Benfica's academy, but has struggled to nail down a place in the first team.
