The 20-year old Danish playmaker has attracted the attention of Manchester United among other European clubs but his representative, Martin Schoots, suggests that he will stay put in Amsterdam for now.
"I can't reveal details about which clubs we are in contact with. I can only say that Christian still wants to stay at Ajax," Schoots told bold.dk.
"It is obvious that he will leave Ajax one day. Like other good players, it is natural for him to move on, but for the moment it is his intention to stay.
"I can't predict the future and I don't have an estimate for when he will finally leave. As I have already said, the intention is for him to stay at Ajax."
