Real Madrid coach Jose Mourinho left Lassana Diarra out of his squad for their 1-1 draw with Almeria.
Diarra has made a 'play me or sell me' demand to Real this month as the likes of Manchester United, Tottenham and PSG circle.
Real coach Jose Mourinho admitted last week he would not block Diarra from leaving the club.
United are said to be prepared to offer £14 million for the ex-Chelsea and Arsenal midfielder.
