Manchester United have announced a trip to Norway as part of their pre-season plans this summer.

The Old Trafford club will head to the Scandinavian country for the first time in 10 years to take on Valerenga on August 5 at Ullevaal Stadium in Oslo.

"We have fantastic fans in Norway - the Scandinavian supporters' club is our biggest anywhere in the world with over 40,000 members," said chief executive David Gill.

"It's great to have the chance to play in front of them again."
