Man Utd take unprecedented security measures for Rangers showdown

Manchester United and Rangers are leaving no stone unturned over the safety of their looming Champions League clash.

United and Rangers have launched an unprecedented security operation to prevent crowd trouble when they meet in the Champions League at Old Trafford on September 14.

Rangers fans travelling from Glasgow to Manchester have been instructed by the Scottish club to travel on official coaches or they will not even be able to pick up tickets.

Coaches will drive to Wigan's DW Stadium 17 miles away, where fans will be given their pre-bought tickets on board their transport.
