Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal feels his tactics and game style are starting to reap the rewards.
The Dutchman began his life at Old Trafford with a three-man defence but has altered that recently by playing a flat back four with a holding midfielder behind an attacking four with Wayne Rooney up front.
It worked wonders in Sunday's 3-0 win over Tottenham and van Gaal suggests things are now finally clicking for his Red Devils.
"The first system was I played with three defenders, the second system was this. I played it against Man City, Chelsea and a third one. But we didn't do this what we have done today," he said.
"It is a matter of time and process. Maybe now is the game that gives us a fantastic boost."
Marouane Fellaini, Michael Carrick and Rooney were all on target as United remained fourth on the Premier League table with a very convincing win.
