Manchester United have made a contract offer to the minders of Inter Milan defender Milan Skriniar.
Corriere dello Sport says United are in talks with Skriniar with the view to ferrying him away from Inter in January.
A package worth €3.5m-a-year has been offered by the English giants, a proposal which has seen the player think twice about new contract talks with Inter.
Skriniar has confirmed this week he's in negotiations with Inter, though their last offer of €2.5m-a-year falls well short of United's counter proposal.
The stopper stated on Wednesday: "We are talking, let's see, I want to give continuity to the work done the past year.
"The important thing is to help the team because Inter must always do better, the team is stronger so we want to achieve important results."
