Man Utd, Swansea target David Accam prepares for HIF departure

Helsingborgs striker David Accam plans to leave Sweden in January.

The exciting Ghana international, who has confirmed interest from Manchester United, plans to leave HIF when the Swedish season concludes.

"There was great interest in David this summer - from Holland, France, Belgium, England, Scotland, Austria, Switzerland and the Middle East. David wanted to stay with HIF for rest of the season, helping the team as much as he can and continuing to grow," agent Phil Radley told fotbolldirekt.se.

"It is likely that David moves in January - the clubs from those countries I mentioned, continues to follow him closely - and he has shown that he has all the potential to play in any team in those leagues."

Along with United, Swansea City are also being mentioned after becoming increasingly active in the Swedish transfer market.

Former Ostersunds FK striker Modou Barrow is impressing for Swansea's U21 team in the early weeks of the season.
