Man Utd striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic: I shine 24 hours a day!

Manchester United striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic insists he's happy with his current form.

When a journalist from overseas suggested Zlatan hasn't shone at United like he did at his previous clubs and dared to ask the reason why, the Reds' enigmatic no.9 replied:

"I shine for 24 hours [a day], so it depends how you want me to shine!

"I've been in the game for 20 years, and while I'm getting older, I feel I am getting better as I get older," Ibrahimovic continued. "I am shining in one way or another, but if you want me to shine even more then I will try and do it for you!"

Continuing in the same assured manner, the Swedish forward claimed the aforementioned 'shine' has also had an illuminating effect on his new environment.

"Once I stepped into Manchester, the whole city was shining," Zlatan remarked.

"I'm not sure how much it was shining before, but it is shining now, 24 hours. Even if it gets dark by three or four o'clock I am enjoying it here, working really hard and training really hard. I feel comfortable here in Manchester, I feel good and I am happy."
