Manchester United's England striker Danny Welbeck could be called back into the England U21s by Stuart Pearce.
Pearce is considering asking Fabio Capello and United boss Alex Ferguson if he can recall Welbeck for his kids' Euro 2013 qualifier in Norway on Monday.
Psycho is short on strikers for the match in Drammen after Nathan Delfouneso and Martyn Waghorn both suffered hamstring injuries in the 3-0 win here in Iceland last night.
Asked if he will turn to Old Trafford star Welbeck, Pearce said: "We have suffered two hamstring injuries to two attacking players so in my mind it certainly becomes a consideration.
"I will have to speak to Fabio and one or two others. We will have to see how the dust settles and get an understanding of the situation.
"I wanted to take on Norway with the squad I had here in Iceland. But the two injuries have really put us flat to the boards in advanced positions."
