Manchester United striker Danny Welbeck is delighted with his current form.
He has scored four goals in nine starts and netting a fifth goal in one of his three substitute outings.
"Personally it has gone really well, I have played a lot of games and I just want to keep on improving and hopefully score a few more goals," Welbeck told manutd.com.
"Every time I'm on the pitch I'm just going to give it 100 per cent. I've seen players leave and I just don't want to do that. I'm not just a player, I'm a Manc and I've been a United fan all my life, so I just want the best for United.
"Our season was going really well until the defeat against City, but after that the win at Everton was massive. Getting the three points there and getting back on track straightaway shows that one defeat is not going to knock us off our stride."
