Manchester United striker Danny Welbeck admits he could've been lining up in Blue tomorrow night for Manchester City.

The England striker tried out for the Blues as a youngster and was rejected.

But luckily for him, United saw his potential and snapped him up.

Welbeck said: "I've been brought up on Manchester derbies and they are always special to me, particularly as I was on trial at City when I was younger but didn't get taken on."
