Man Utd striker Van Persie keeping eye on Ajax sensation Ricardo Kishna

Manchester United striker Robin van Persie is keeping tabs on Ajax whizkid Ricardo Kishna.

Kishna's agent Mino Raiola has talked up the youngster's qualities this week and says the winger is "ready for a bigger stage".

Meanwhile, Van Persie was asked about criticism of Kishna from Ajax coach Frank de Boer and Johan Cruyff for getting booked after celebrating a goal in victory over Heerenveen.

"If the whole stadium explodes, you just lose control of yourself completely, for a few moments," reasoned Van Persie. "Then you're just too excited and pull off your shirt. Moments later you realize that it will cost you a yellow card."

Van Persie did it with the equaliser against Chelsea this term and added: "I'd do it again. You get an adrenaline shock at such a time, it's worth it."
