Man Utd striker Rooney insists lack of goals not weighing on him

Wayne Rooney was delighted with Manchester United's victory at Newcastle United.

The striker has yet to score in his six appearances this season but even though 13 Reds team-mates have opened their 2012/13 accounts, he's not unduly worried.

"As long as we keep winning, I'm not concerned. If it comes, it comes. We've got other players who can score goals for us," Rooney said after United's 3-0 win at Newcastle.

"It was a great result for us. Everyone knows it's one of the hardest games of the season - Newcastle away - but we came here and defended brilliantly, scored three goals and, overall, fully deserved the victory."
