Manchester United ace Wayne Rooney says he never pushed for a move to Chelsea in the summer.
Rooney has thanked Sir Alex Ferguson for his climb-down and insisted he has had a new lease of life under new boss David Moyes.
Rooney, who inspired United to a 1-0 win over Real Sociedad last night, said: "He's got his own opinion and I've said nothing about it.
"But thankfully he came back and corrected the story that I put a transfer request in and proved I haven't.
"I'm thankful to him, he's corrected that. No, it hasn't reignited a feud. I haven't seen him since he retired."
