Wayne Rooney was delighted with his brace for England in last night's rout of Andorra.
The Manchester United hitman was full of praise for England boss Fabio Capello and said: "He has got us playing as a team and we're winning games. That's why we're doing so well."
The result effectively leaves England needing just one more Group Six win to qualify for South Africa.
And Rooney believes the biggest triumph under the Italian coach so far proves Capello has made England a force once more.
Roo added: "The disappointment of not getting to Euro 2008 is still very much in the players' minds and the manager and his coaching staff coming in have been a big plus.
"We've won our first seven games in qualifying and we've got one foot already in the World Cup finals. Hopefully we'll get there in our next game.
"It's been quite a hard preparation and we face another long season next year but we'll be ready."
