And the England striker is anxious to make amends against Newcastle United at Old Trafford today to keep United on course for a record 20th title.
He admitted: “Some days you have an off-day and I could feel it on the pitch against Swansea.
“I couldn’t complain at being substituted.
“The Swansea game has gone and it is certainly not one I will remember — but I will relish the next one.
“We are happy to be four points clear at the top. We are still in a good position with two home games coming up. We need to make sure we take maximum points from them.
“It’s early days and there is a long way to go but we are in a healthy position at the moment.”
