Manchester United striker Michael Owen says he's ready for the late season call from Sir Alex Ferguson.

Owen knows the manager is likely to allow everybody the chance to contribute with only four games left this season.

"Even if it is just one goal or one good performance, everyone is going to play their part," he insisted to "That is why, from my point of view, you are always wanting to play and train as if you are going to play at the weekend.

"One day, the manager might just ask you to play or someone might get injured. You might have to come on with five minutes to go to try and nick a goal. We have seen that here so many times.

"You have to be prepared. If you are not, you are not going to take your chance."
