Manchester United striker Michael Owen says David Beckham has every right to be upset with England coach Fabio Capello.
Capello retired the LA Galaxy star this week without notifying him of his decision.
Owen said: "I think it would be harsh to say the manager hasn't got respect for him. But you'd think a phone call would have been appropriate."
