Manchester United striker Kiko Macheda says he has a good relationship with manager Sir Alex Ferguson.

The Italian is currently playing on-loan at Stuttgart and commented on Ferguson's retirement announcement yesterday.

Macheda told Calciomercato.it: "Between us there has always been a very nice relationship. I have been and I will always be extremely proud to have worked with him for four years.

"His best quality has always been to treat everyone in the same way, if your name is Rooney or even Macheda."
