Zlatan Ibrahimovic could face an investigation by the FA if he is found to have breached betting rules.
The Manchester United striker is set to help promote new betting company, BetHard, who have stated that they intend to become Europe's leading gambling outlet.
All football personnel, including match officials, club officials, players and managers, are prohibited from being associated with gambling companies.
The FA rules states: "An individual participant, when acting in a personal capacity, shall not be permitted to advertise or promote any betting activity that the participant is prohibited from engaging in by rule E8(1) or E8(2)."
If the Swede is found to have breached the rules, he could be asked to withdraw his alliance with BetHard, or he could potentially be banned, depending on the extent of his involvement.
