Manchester United striker Javier Hernandez has thanked Mexican fans for their support this past week.

Chicharito was mobbed wherever he went while back home during international week.

"I am very happy for the reception you have given me, both in Guadalajara and here in Monterrey," he said.

"I want to repay everyone's support with strong performances for El Tri."
