Manchester United striker Ashley Fletcher is delighted with his progress on-loan at Barnsley.
The 20-year-old scored for the second consecutive match in the recent win at Walsall and followed it up by earning the sponsors' Man-of-the-Match award, and winning a penalty after being fouled when rounding keeper Dan Bentley, in the 2-0 defeat to Southend United.
He told manutd.com: "Hopefully my profile has increased game by game but the main thing is to get experience, score as many goals as possible and return to United a better player.
"It's got to be my main aim and that's the ultimate goal – playing for Manchester United. I came here to get experience and I've got to keep working hard, keep scoring goals and keep sending a message in a way to the manager that I am here and doing well."
