Manchester United have made a formal approach for Bordeaux winger Adam Ounas.

RMC says United are one of six teams to tell the 19-year-old's representatives they are prepared to offer Bordeaux around £7.9m (€10m) for his signature.

Three of Jose Mourinho's rivals are from the Premier League - managerless Southampton, Stoke and an unnamed club.

He could become Jose Mourinho's second signing following the capture of Eric Bailly.

Serie A giants Napoli and newly-promoted Bundesliga club RB Leipzig are also in the hunt.
