Manchester United are still keen on bringing Inter Milan defender Maicon to Old Trafford according to his agent Antonio Caliendo.

The Brazil international has been linked with the reigning Premier League champions for some time now and it is believed they are extremely keen to get their man although no offers have been made.

"United's interest in my client is not something new," Caliendo said.

"They have been following him for a while.

"Now it seems to me that they are pressing for him but I don't think there has been any concrete offers yet."
