Manchester United will get preference over Manchester City in the Europa League fixturing.

The Daily Express says City may enjoy a top seeding in today's Europa League draw, but remain in the shadow of their city rivals.

Manchester United's greater status means they get first choice of when to play their home Europa League ties and will get the traditional "Thursday night, Channel 5" slot.

Police will not allow both games to take place at the same time, so City must give up the advantage of being at home for the second leg or play on Tuesday at 5pm on ITV 4 to avoid the Champions League fixtures.
