Long time Manchester City scout Dennis Schofield has revealed Manchester United still have the pull for the city's youngsters.

Schofield offered Ryan Giggs to City before he was signed by United boss Sir Alex Ferguson as a 14 year-old.

And he revealed to the : "Ferguson's pinched another one, a boy of 12, 13 who's a really nice player.

"I recommended him to City but United got there first - you have to get there first, though the lad's from a United family."
