Manchester United are continuing their chase for Bayern Munich star Thomas Muller.

According to Sport Bild suggest that United have tabled a £60million bid for the Germany international who has been linked with a summer exit from the Bundesliga champions for much of the summer.

Red Devils boss Louis van Gaal is determined to lure 25-year-old forward Muller to Old Trafford but Bayern are in no mood to sell after allowing Bastian Schweinsteiger to leave for the famous English club.

Repairs suggest United will continue their pursuit of a new striker but Bayern chief Karl-Heinze Rummenigge is unlikely to sell Muller to van Gaal.
