Manchester United are reviving interest in Neven Subotic.
Sir Alex Ferguson has been a long-time admirer of the Borussia Dortmund centre-back following glowing reviews from Subotic's international team-mate Nemanja Vidic, says the Daily Mail.
The 23-year-old has two years left on his current deal, and it is believed the German champions would demand a fee in the region of £20m.
Chelsea have also been monitoring the 6ft 3in defender, and had a £17.5m bid turned down last year.
And the Old Trafford club are considering a £16.5million bid for Subotic in the summer, according to reports in Germany.
