Manchester United defender Timothy Fosu-Mensah is backing older brother Alfons to work his way through England's football pyramid.
Alfons, 22, is currently playing for North Ferriby United in the National League.
"If everything goes well, he may be in the Championship. He won't give up," Timothy told Voetbal International. "He is still trying, he continues to fight hard. I can't really compare to his situation.
"I moved very early from Zeeburgia to Ajax, I had in terms of training just about the best possible chance and I from Louis van Gaal I very quickly had my chance at Manchester United."
Alfons adds: "I really need a trainer with football eyes, with a football heart, who says: 'you are the player we're looking for'. I also have a need for Louis van Gaal, actually."
