Manchester United striker Angelo Henriquez is shocked by his senior Chile call.
The 18-year-old was called up by coach Claudio Borghi to replace injured Cagliari hitman Mauricio Pinilla and is surprised by his elevation to the World Cup qualifiers.
"Unfortunately, we have important players injured," he told Radio ADN. "That has worked in my favour and I hope to play. Otherwise, I will continue to work the same way to have another call-up. It's not what I expected - I was ready to play with the Under-20s.
"I have been working very hard and intensively in England. Mentally, it is a huge motivation to come and play for the Chilean national team."
