Man Utd starlet Andreas Pereira prepared to go on loan

Manchester United youngster Andreas Pereira has revealed that he is open to a loan move away from Old Trafford.

Despite being hailed as one of the most promising young players in the United academy, Pereira has found regular first team football hard to come by under Louis van Gaal having been limited to only two starts in the League Cup.

The Belgium-born Brazil U20 international is keen on forcing his way into the United first team eventually but has admitted that he would be open to a loan move this January in a bid to gain regular first team experience.

Asked by the Manchester Evening News if he could leave on loan, Pereira said: "Normally yes so we will see what happens.

"I want to stay here, of course, but you never know. We will see."

However, a confident Pereira also stated his intention to fight for a spot in van Gaal's first team if a temporary spell elsewhere was not to eventuate.

"I like to have a challenge. I am not scared of the challenge. I know it will be hard," he added.

"Some of the best players in the world are in the team.

"But I have confidence in myself and if I keep doing the things I am doing now, I think I will achieve it.

"I know there are world class players but I have faith in my ability."
