Zlatan Ibrahimovic is the only player in world football who could be successful in any competition.

That is according to the Manchester United star's agent Mino Raiola.

Raiola has revealed that there were plenty of clubs in England who had previously doubted the Swedish striker but he was always confident he would succeed anywhere in the universe.

“There were a lot of clubs in England who had reservations if he could do the same here, and I was always a little bit stunned by that question, or by that doubt," he told talkSPORT.

“Because in England, pace is so important, maybe one of the most important attributes of the Premier League.

“I don't know if they doubted his pace or his quality. That's a question you should ask others, not me.

“I was never in doubt. I thought that if he could do it wherever he did it. Knowing how good he is and knowing what kind of person and man, on and off the field, he is.

“He can do it everywhere. I think he's the only player in the world that can be successful on Mars or on the Moon!"
