Manchester United ace Wayne Rooney says he would have entered the priesthood if he hadn't become a footballer.
Had the forward not made a career out of banging in the goals, the 24-year-old could have found himself preaching instead of poaching.
When asked what he would have done if he hadn't been a top footballer, the Croxteth-born striker - raised in an Irish Catholic family - said: "I haven't a clue what else I'd have done.
"I wasn't really the best in school. I always enjoyed RE, so maybe a priest.'
