Manchester United ace Cristiano Ronaldo faces a £20,000 bill for the damage he caused from crashing his Ferrari.
The Portuguese star wrote off the £200,000 car as it hit both walls of the tunnel that goes under Manchester Airport. Now airport authorities have written to Manchester United winger Ronaldo via his insurers asking him to pay for repairs to damaged brickwork, buckled railings and a smashed exit door.
A source told the Mirror: "It's a real double whammy for Ronaldo. He has already lost a £200,000 car and this is another cost to factor in.
"Even though he earns a fortune, the accident has proved to be very expensive indeed - especially as he'd only been out in the car a couple of times."
