The Frenchman lifted his shirt after scoring to reveal the words: “Bon Anniversaire, Papa. Allah y Rahmou, which translates to: “Happy birthday, Dad. May Allah have mercy on him."
Pogba's father passed away last May and yesterday would have been his 80th birthday.
