Lassana Diarra appears to have played his last game for Real Madrid.
AS says Diarra was allowed to skip Real's preseason tour of the US by coach Jose Mourinho after seeking permission via letter. Mourinho studied the request and chose to allow the Frenchman to stay home for "personal reasons".
Real are seeking to sell the former Arsenal and Chelsea midfielder for around €20 million.
Manchester United and Tottenham have been linked with Diarra, though Juventus are showing the strongest interest.
