Manchester United are aiming to bring Real Madrid midfielder Lassana Diarra back to England.
The former Chelsea, Arsenal and Portsmouth ace is on the outer at Real and a £10 million target for United, says AS.
Diarra has completed 90 minutes just twice so far this season for Jose Mourinho's side.
The Frenchman could move to Old Trafford as a replacement for crock Owen Hargreaves and a long-term successor for veteran midfielder Paul Scholes.
