Manchester United have swooped for Stoke City defender Ritchie De Laet.
The 20-year old, who has spent the early part of this season on loan at non league side Wrexham, will pen a contract at Old Trafford after the two Club's agreed a performance related payment package.
De Laet joined the Potters in August 2007 from leading Belgian side Royal Antwerp, however he never went on to make a single appearance for the first team, despite being named as a substitute on a number of occasions.
