Man Utd to slap in bid for Figueirense youngster Roberto Firminio

Manchester United are eyeing a swoop for little-known Brazilian midfielder Roberto Firminio.

The 18 year-old plays for Brazilian Second Division Figueirense and has been watched by United's locally-based scouts.

United boss Sir Alex Ferguson has received glowing reports on Firminio and Futbol Mercado says a €3 million offer is on it's way to Figueirense.

After the success of Fabio and Rafael da Silva, Ferguson has no hesitation moving for Firminio before he becomes known to Europe's bigger clubs.
