Manchester United skipper Wayne Rooney has told Aston Villa youngster Jack Grealish to commit himself to England.

Grealish also qualifies for the Republic of Ireland.

But England captain Rooney said: "I'm a firm believer that you should play for the country in which you are born.

"Of course, it is down to him and the rules are the rules. But the sooner he makes the decision, the better."
